Hi Everyone,
My post today is a card I made for the Stars and Stamps "Masculine Midweek Throwdown Challenge". My card iscard made with a stamp I purchased about 5 years ago. The stamp is from All Night Media. I chalked SU's whisper white paper with Barely Banana, Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery (all SU colors), ran it through my Big Shot using Large Pinking Circles Nestibalities, matted it on another Nestibalities and adhered it to a SU Sahara Sand card base which I had stamped with SU's Sanded stamp. The greeting is from a retired SU set, Sincere Salutations. Thanks for stopping by.
Beautiful card Donna, perfect for our challenge! Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown masculine challenge at Operation Write Home this week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card! I love the sanded background and those pinked nesties!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice image for masculine cards. I love the way you chalked it too. Great job!
ReplyDeleteFantastic card, Donna!! The pinking circles go with the vintage-looking image perfectly because they remind me of quilt pieces. When you refer to chalking, do you mean chalk ink? Haven't tried that yet.
ReplyDeleteTerrific card. I love the medallions, coloring, image...everything about it.
ReplyDeleteVery nice masculine thinking of you card! Love all how you created. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteLove this card! Quietly understated but such a strong card. Just perfect.
ReplyDeleteHave to add a quick second comment -- I have added myself as a 'follower' of your blog. So much great inspiration - thanks!
ReplyDeletegreat job on the card
ReplyDeleteI had to come back and tell you how much I appreciate your sweet comments! You've totally made my day! Thanks so much!!
ReplyDeleteAnd BTW, are your fur babies Chihuahua's? We used to have 2 of them, and I just love that breed!!
