OWH Fundraiser

Good Monday Morning,
Today I'd like to present you with a card I made using an image from K'nK Designs that I think is just adorable. I hope you feel the same way. I colored it with Copics, but it also lends itself nicely to colored pencils. the sentiment is also from K'nK. I am trying to entice you to purchase these and other images from K'nK Designs in order to help Operation Write Home, which as I'm sure you know, is a not-for-profit organization that collects and sends handmade greeting cards to American soldiers for their use in keeping in touch with their families back home. They need to raise $13,000 immediately, just to cover holiday shipping costs.* This week there will be other fundraisers going on but don't forget to do yourself a favor and check out K 'n K Designs. They will be selling 7 new digi sets designed exclusively for this cause. These include 4 sets by Katlyn at K 'n K Designs and 3 sets by Deedee Anderson. Each "set" includes an image and some greetings, in both .jpeg and .png file formats, all in a zip file.* These sets are available for just $2 each, or in various value bundles (e.g., get them all for just $10!), with all proceeds donated to Operation Write Home. * The sets can be purchased at the K 'n K blog (NOT their store) from October 17th thru noon November 1st. All purchases will be emailed out within 24 hours of payment clearance.
* Those who don't craft but would still like to aid the cause can donate directly to OWH. Info on how to do that is at this page: http://operationwritehome.org/donate.html

I will be back tomorrow with another card using another precious image from K'nK Designs so please come back to see the next image I have to show you, but you don't have to wait until tomorrow, you can hop right over to K'nK Designs right now and make a purchase. Everyone who is involved with Operation Write Home thanks you so much for any help you can give.

  3. Donna, what a cute image. Love plaid so this is right up my alley. Perfect for soldiers, to let their loved ones know they are thinking of them. I love it.
