Good Friday Morning. It's a beautiful morning here. It actually feels more like a fall day than a spring day, but I'll take it. I'm hoping it stays cool so I can working outside in a comfortable temperature. I thought I 'd share a card with you today that I made for my Hubby.
Last month when I went to California I had left several cards around the house for Hubby to find while I was gone. This was one of his favorites, so I think I might make a few of these for my next OWH box. I've done a few cards using this method in the past and they go together quickly, which is always a plus. I just stamped my image from Gina K Designs "Love Note" set, punched out my parts, adhered them to a piece of white card stock and embossed it with the SU Square Lattice folder then adhered that to a white card base. I really like the white on white combination. I think it is a good masculine card, especially with different colored hearts, because there is nothing frilly on it.
It was a hit in this house so I'm hoping it will be a hit in other houses. Have a great day. Heading outside for now. See you later on.
This is a really cute card...Nicely done. Thank you for the nice comment on the card, and in regard to the die...(the cut and fold) There were 5 different ones in the scrapbook store that I went to...I had a hard time choosing just which one I wanted...(so you know I will be back later to buy more...smile)

What a lovely idea and the card is gorgeous. Love the idea of punching the hearts and then embossing them with the background. I would never have thought of that.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is travelling back to the UK for 12 days next month I think I will pack some cards in his luggage for him.
