S & S Sketch Challenge #178

Good Sunday Evening All.  I'm here with a very quick post for today's challenge over at Stars and Stamps found here.  Here is the sketch we are to follow this week.
Here is my take on it.

When I first looked at this sketch my mind immediately went to triple time stamping, so as you can see I had to change the size of the horizontal strip or else it would have covered too much of the stampings.  The card stock, papers and stamp are all from SU and the sentiment is by Hero Arts.  The little black gems were in my stash.    It looked better in my head, but I'm still kind of pleased with the outcome.    That will have to do it for me as Hubby and I are heading out to the deck to relax,  enjoy the evening and watch for the moon.  Thank for popping in and saying hello.  I'll be around tomorrow to see everyone's creations.

MWT - Cards 4 Kids

Hello Blogger Friends, It is a gorgeous morning here in south eastern Mass.  Hope you are all enjoying a beautiful day also. So for This week's Mid Week Throw Down.  They have challenged us to make Cards 4 Kids.   Here is my card for this challenge.
Both the pre-colored digi  and the sentiment are from Doodle Pantry which made this card a very easy one to make.   I printed the digi out on Cryogen White paper which had a bit of sparkle to it so I spritz the Brocade Blue SU paper with some Sapphire Ritzy Ditzy Glitz to get a sparkly look to it also.  This is not glitter so nothing will rub off.  The patterned paper is a long since retired SU paper. The die cut is a SB Pinked Circle.  I don't know why but the Pinked die cuts just seem to lend themselves for masculine cards to me.  Well off to enjoy the day.  Thanks so much for popping in for a short visit.

S & S Sketch Challenge #177

I'm a little bit behind on challenges this week, but here I am with the S & S Sketch Challenge #177.
Here is the sketch for this challenge
And here is my take on it.

The papers, the embossing folder, and the background stamping on the focal piece are all from SU.
The sentiment is from Versers Rubber Stamp Co. The brads are by Recollections and the felt flowers have been in my stash for years so I'm sorry that I don't know who mfg. them.  I used my Copic Multiliner to dash around the pink panel.  Right now it is raining cats and dogs here and it's starting to thunder, so I'm off the computer in just a minute. I hope you are all having better weather. thanks for stopping by and I'll talk to you all soon.

HMFMC # 147

Good Monday morning friends.  Well it's time for another House Mouse & Friends challenge which is #147 Anything Goes - Use A Charm.  This is my final entry as a Guest Designer.  I love these little mice so it has been a lot of fun designing with them.  For this challenge I went with Halloween.  I have no reason why.   This is one of House Mouse's clear Halloween stamps.  There are a lot of stamps in this package and everyone of them is just darling.
I colored my image with Copics and cut it out with SB Square and Oval Square dies.  I sponged Peeled Paint Distress Ink around the image before I removed it from the die.  I embossed it with the Cuttlebug's Honeycomb embossing folder.  The ribbon was a gift and the charm was in a bag of charms I won from House Mouse & Friends last year.   I know summer is just getting started, but the other night it felt like a very cool windy fall night, so now that I think about it maybe that is why I looked at the Halloween stamps this week.  I really appreciate you stopping by for a peek.  Hope to get back to see you all soon.  Have a wonderful Monday.  Bye for now - - -

HM&FMC #146 For A Male

Good Monday Morning Blogger Friends.  Here I am Guest Designing again for House Mouse & Friends.  This week our challenge is to make a card "For A Male" .
The title of this stamp is Great Catch, but I turned Maxwell into a pitcher for this game.  I colored him with Copics and then attempted to place him the the middle of a baseball.  I also attempted to make a baseball diamond and a scoreboard.   As you can see House Mouse & Friends won this game.  YAY - Go Meeces.    It is going to rain on and off all day so hopefully I'll get some more crafting done.    Thank you so very much for popping in for a visit.  See you again soon.
